All of our dance teachers in Woy Woy are passionate, loyal and dedicated. We teach in a caring and nurturing manner. We look forward to sharing our love for this beautiful art with all of our students.

Miss Lacey Lyons

Miss Lacey has studied all styles of dance and has over 20 years of experience teaching it. She received her teaching certification through the Les Griffith Tap Dancing Academy, gaining Honours Plus in her final teaching exam. 

Miss Lacey has trained with the Royal Academy of Dance in syllabus levels 1-5 inclusive. She also studied sports science and physical education while completing her degree. 

Miss Lacey is the school principal and teaches Tap, Jazz, Cabaret, Musical Theatre, Song & Dance and conditioning. Miss Lacey is an experienced performer and helps all students in the school to develop their stagecraft and performance skills.

Miss Leanne Smithers

Miss Leanne is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. She completed her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies in 2013. Her other qualifications include a Junior Tap Teaching certificate with the Australian Tap Dancing Association and a Certificate IV in Performing Arts (Dance) with Mango Dance Studio, North Sydney in 2010. 

Miss Leanne began dance teaching in 2011 and has taught for a number of dance schools on the Central Coast region. Miss Leanne teaches ballet, character, pointe and contemporary. 

Miss Leanne has worked professionally as a dancer as 
well as been part of several 
musical productions.

Miss Carissah Fletcher

Miss Carissah is an enthusiastic and creative teacher and is also qualified with the Les Griffith Tap Dancing Academy. 
Miss Carissah has studied all styles of dance within the school and has completed her degree in primary school teaching. Miss Carissah has 8 years teaching experience within the school and teaches all styles of dance.

Miss Mariah & Miss Sarah

Miss Mariah and Miss Sarah assist with our junior classes to ensure all of our young dancers are well looked after and get all the attention they need. 

Miss Mariah and Miss Sarah have trained within the school, Miss Mariah since she was 4 years of age and Miss Sarah from the age of 7. Miss Mariah and Miss Sarah have participated in dance exams, solo and group eisteddfods, community performances and our end of year concerts. 

Miss Mariah and Miss Sarah have a lot to share with our young students. They are both very reliable and passionate about working with children showing maturity 
beyond their years.
